MM ECD Academy
Mogapi Mogapaesi Foundation T/A MM ECD Academy, is a non-profit company that was established to close the access gap to Quality Education and barriers to Early Childhood Development (ECD). MM ECD Academy firmly believe that children entering school, should be prepared and ready to benefit from the formal education. It is well recognized that ECD plays a substantive role in preparing a child to thrive in primary, secondary and tertiary level. Experiences during early childhood shape the architecture of the developing brain. Children who are nourished and nurtured in their earliest years, are more likely to start school On Track in key areas of development.

ECD Food
Security Program
The foundation has launched food security programme and food donation to families with children whose health have been compromised by poverty directed at improving nutrition, early learning and providing parent/caregiver support. With rising living costs and South Africa’s unemployment currently at 32,7%. The link between ECD, child health and nutrition has never been more significant. Addressing food insecurity is that young children bear the brunt and child malnutrition is often the forgotten consequence of inaction.
